LEARN MORE ABOUT HAMILTON HOCKEY CAMP

The second Hamilton Hockey Camp, created by Tommy Bergsland, a rising senior on the Colgate Men's Ice Hockey team, will take place in August 2024.  Our vision is to provide the Upstate New York area with a fun and progressive hockey camp environment. The camp will feature full days of multiple ice sessions highlighting the development and on-ice skills. The camp will be hosted at the Class of 1965 arena, a state-of-the-art college hockey facility.  There is no better way to teach campers about becoming more complete hockey players than the Hamilton Hockey Camp staff of Colgate University hockey team members!

Camp check-in will be at 9:00 a.m., and the camp will run daily until 3:30 p.m. The days will be full of on-ice instruction, competition, and off-ice workouts and games.

Lunch WILL NOT be provided so players should bring their own each day.

 

Sample Daily Schedule: 

First Ice Session: 9:30-10:30 - Focusing on skating, puck handling, and shooting

Off-ice dry-land puck skills and athleticism training: 11:00-12:00

Lunch: 12:00-12:30 

Second Ice Session: 1:00-2:15 - Consisting of competition, small area games, and larger scrimmages

 Off-Ice Games: 2:30-3:30

Player Pickup: 3:30

High school Camp is the same schedule without the afternoon Off-ice games
